Pediatrics Group Says Teens Should Have Access to Emergency Contraception

CHARLOTTE, N.C.--Forget about just talking to your teens about emergency birth control...you should make sure they have access to some. 

American Academy of Pediatrics issued a new policy statement Monday.  It says doctors should prescribe the morning after pill before they need it. 

The AAP points to studies that show teens will use emergency contraception if it's given to them.
