Petraeus To Testify About Benghazi AttackCHARLOTTE, N.C.--Former CIA Director David Petraeus will testify Friday in Washington about the deadly attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya. His testimony had been on hold following his resignation last week over a sex scandal involving a Charlotte woman. There are questions about what classified material his mistress, Paula Broadwell, has access to. Officials say as an intelligence officer in the military reserves, Broadwell would have had special clearance to view information. Officials have also released the name of the FBI agent that prompted the investigation resulting in Petraeus' resignation. His name is Special Agent Frederick Humphries II. He played a key role in stopping a terrorist attack aimed at Los Angeles International Airport in 1999. |
