CHARLOTTE, N.C.--Checks go in the mail Wednesday for 315 thousand people who bought Reebok's Easytone and Runtone Shoes.

Checks are from a $25 million settlement with the Federal Trade Commission over false advertising. Reebok claimed the sneakers were better than regular shoes for toning your legs and glutes.

Sketchers paid a $40 million fine in May to settle charges over ads for its Shape-Up shoes.
