Texas Cheerleaders Allowed To Fly Bible Banners
KOUNTZE,TX--Texas cheerleaders were spreading the faith during a high school football game.
Cheerleaders in southeast Texas got the okay from a judge to fly Bible verse banners during their school football games.
The school district initially said the banners were not allowed due to pressure from the Freedom From Religion Foundation.
In the end, a Judge overturned the ban, arguing it violated the girls First Amendment rights to freedom of speech allowing the girls to continue flying the Bible banners.
