Broadcasts of NC Symphony performances scheduledCHAPEL HILL, N.C. (AP) — Fans of the North Carolina Symphony can hear their favorite compositions all summer from their dashboards or living rooms. The symphony and WUNC-FM have again partnered to present music for a summer evening. The performances begin Monday and continue through Aug, 27. Favorite symphony performances from the past concert season will be broadcast every Monday night. The program will stream online at WUNC.org during the week following the Monday night broadcast, for a limited time David Hartman hosts the performances recorded live in Raleigh's Meymandi Concert Hall. Listeners will have special access to interviews with musicians and soloists and insights into some of the compositions. |
