NC man charged in infant's death, sibling's injury
HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (AP) — Authorities in Huntersville have arrested a man following the death of his 7-week-old son and injuries to the boy's twin sister.
WCNC-TV in Charlotte reports (http://bit.ly/V7GVaw ) that 25-year-old Cory Allen Geisler was charged Wednesday with child abuse inflicting serious bodily injury for the boy's death.
Huntersville police went to Geisler's home last Thursday regarding an unresponsive infant and pronounced the boy dead shortly after their arrival. The next day, police responded to a pediatrician's office after reports of injuries to the dead boy's sister. Officials determined that the girl had been abused and later determined that boy had been as well.
Geisler is being held in the Mecklenburg County jail under $30,000 bond. It's not known if he has an attorney.
