2 arrested in Greensboro lottery theftGREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) — Two people have been arrested and accused of stealing winning lottery tickets from a store in Greensboro. The News & Record of Greensboro reported (http://bit.ly/14R9QDR) the arrests were made following a sting operation last month. A detective presented a winning ticket at a store and the clerk ran it through the lottery computer. Police say 47-year-old Yogesh Jayantibhai Patel saw the ticket was a $1,000 winner but told the detective it was a losing ticket. The Guilford County sheriff's office said Patel and 50-year-old Minaben Yogesh Patel cashed the ticket the next day.
