RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — A retreat in Raleigh could leave those who attend with a peaceful feeling.
The second annual YogaFest NC is scheduled for Saturday at the McKimmon Center at North Carolina State University. The retreat offers programs to help anyone interested in yoga, regardless of experience level, develop and expand their practice in a safe, enthusiastic and professional setting.
The event provides adults with a broad range of yoga movement and philosophy classes, meditation sessions, a keynote speaker, complimentary massage and vegetarian/ vegan lunch.
Exhibitors will also be on hand with demonstrations and samples of their products and services.
Proceeds from the retreat will support the mission of You Call This Yoga to help underserved populations and people with physical challenges improve their quality of life through yoga.
