Forsyth detective finds 7 stolen horses


WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (AP) — A Forsyth County sheriff's detective has found seven horses that were stolen from a barn last month.

The Winston-Salem Journal reports ( officers also recovered about 80 pieces of equipment.

No arrests have been made.

Deputies say the horses and equipment were stolen April 29. The horses and equipment are valued at $40,000.

Chief Deputy Brad Stanley says the horses appear to be fine.
