CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- CMPD has arrested the third suspect accused of breaking into a North Charlotte home and murdering the man that lived there.
Darnell Foster, 19, was charged Friday morning in the murder of Davis Walthall. Foster was arrested by the Violent Criminal Apprehension Team without incident.
Walthall was murdered when Foster, Jacoby Chambers, and Terry Clay broke into his resident on Maribel Avenue on April 12, 2013. The victim was found deceased due to a gunshot wound. The three suspects fled the scene after the incident.
Jacoby Chambers, 21, was arrested on Saturday, April 13, 2013 and Terry Clay, 23, was arrested Thursday, April 18, 2013.
