Medic Transporting 4 Patients in South Charlotte Car CrashCHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Charlotte Fire Department and Medic responded to a vehicle accident involving a pin-in on Saturday afternoon at the intersection of Pineville-Matthews Road and Providence Road. Emergency crews arrived at the scene around 2:15 p.m. It took about 19 minutes to rescue patients from the entrapment. Medic transported a total of four patients. One patient has life threatening injuries, two patients have potentially life threatening injuries and the final patient has non-life threatening injuries. All four patients are being transported to CMC Main. |
