CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- CMPD is asking the community's assistance in locating an armed and dangerous man with an extensive criminal history.

Detectives are looking for 29 year-old, Tony Johnson. He is wanted on outstanding warrants for possession of a firearm by a felon, carrying a concealed weapon, assault on a government official, resist, obstruct and delay, and possession of stolen property.

Johnson should be considered armed and dangerous. His criminal history includes assault by pointing a gun, breaking and entering, larceny, and assaulting a government official.
