Crews End Search for Human Remains in Caldwell CountyCALDWELL COUNTY, N.C.--Crews have ended their search for more human remains in Caldwell County. Hunters found a skull in a wooded area at Winkler Way and Highway 268 on Tuesday. The state medical examiner's office is trying to identify the remains. The area is a few miles from where investigators found Zahra Baker's bone fragments in 2010. Her stepmother, Elise Baker, murdered her and scattered her remains across Caldwell County. |
