Drug Tainted CandySTATESVILLE, N.C.-- Candy passed around your child's school is not really a big deal, until you find out the lollipops are laced with not one but several drugs! The drug tainted candy showed up earlier this week at West Iredell Middle School in Statesville. 13 year old Casey Siden got sick after eating candy another student gave him. Test results from the Iredell County Sheriff's Office Crime Lab show the lollipop Casey ate was laced with hydrocodone and a chemical used in bath salts. The student responsible will be charged.
