SHELBY, N.C.-- The number of E.Coli cases linked to the Cleveland County fair has grown again.

Health officials say 100 people have been infected. 62 of them are children, including a two year old Gaston County boy who died earlier this month.

The source of the outbreak has not been pinpointed. Tests show animal exposure may be to blame.

The most common symptoms of E. Coli are stomach cramps, diarrhea and vomiting. A person who has the bacteria and does not wash their hands can also spread it to you.
