Former Pastor Pleads Guilty To Engaging in Sex Acts With Minors On Mission Trip
GASTONIA, N.C.-- An ex-pastor pleaded guilty on Friday to having sex with two minors while on a church mission in Haiti.
Larry Michael Bollinger was a pastor at Christ’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Stanley when he left for Haiti with his wife to work with the Lazarus Project in 2004.
According to reports, he was accused of engaging in sexual activity with two minors while there in 2009.
Authorities say the girls involved were 11 and 12-years-old. Bollinger will be sentenced at a later date.
Bollinger has reportedly been treated for mental health conditions and sexual addiction.
