HICKORY, N.C. -- A mother was banned from Facebook for posting a photo of her daughter and her friend.

Jill White, a professional photographer, was banned from Facebook after posting a photo of her 2-year-old daughter and her friend recreating the famous "Coppertone girl" from 1953 where a dog was pulling down a little girl's bathing suit bottom.

Facebook claimed it violated the social media site's standard on "nudity and pornography."

White said her daughter was playing on the beach when her friend playfully pulled down her bathing suit bottom and the tan line reminded her of the Coppertone Ad.

White posted the photo on Coppertone's facebook page.
