NC Students Will Receive Abortion Education
RALEIGH, N.C.--The State Senate passed a measure Tuesday in Raleigh that required students in North Carolina middle schools to receive abortion education.
The curriculum will cover the preventable causes of pre-term birth, including induced abortion.
Lawmakers said parents would be able to opt their kids out of the curriculum.
The bill was on its way to Gov. Pat McCrory's desk Tuesday night.
