New NC Law Allows Authorities To Break Into Vehicles To Save Pets

RALEIGH, N.C.--Rescue workers can now break into vehicles in North Carolina to free animals locked in hot cars. 

North Carolina legislators passed the law that allows police officers, firefighters and rescue crews to free animals by any reasonable means. 

The bill was signed into law on Monday.
