New NC Law Bans The Sale Of E-Cigarettes To Minors
CHARLOTTE, N.C.--A new law goes into effect that bans the sale of e-cigarettes to minors in North Carolina.
The owners of smoke shops in the state will face the same misdemeanor charge if they sell e-cigarettes to minors as other tobacco products.
They also face fines as high as $1,000. E-cigarettes have become overly popular after restaurants and bars banned smoking.
The battery-powered sticks are filled with liquid nicotine and create a vapor that users inhale.
