Police Looking For Man Who Robbed Pizza Joint, Crashed In Cornelius

 HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. -- Police are looking for the person who robbed Uncle Maddio's Pizza Joint at gunpoint just after 10 p.m. Wednesday.

Police arrived to the restaurant at 10109 Northcross Center Court and the employee said the suspect took his personal property and cash from the safe. The manager of the business suffered minor injuries after the suspect hit him in the face with his handgun.

The suspect is described as a black male in their 20's wearing dark clothing and a bandana. The man drove off and crashed at the intersection of Poole Place and Bailey Road in Cornelius. The suspect then ran off.
