Robbers Invade Boone Homes, Assault Residents

BOONE, N.C. -- The two men who robbed and assaulted victims during two home invasions are now behind bars.

Boone Police responded to a home invasion and robbery on Hill Street just before 9:15 p.m. Tuesday.

The victim at the residence stated two unknown individuals entered his home demanding money. He received minor injuries during the home invasion, robbery and assault.

During the investigation on Hill Street, another report of a home invasion, assault and robbery came into police. The second incident occurred at a home on the south end of Blowing Rock Road. The residents at this home had also been assaulted and robbed during a home invasion and sustained minor injuries.

Police sent out warrants for D'Ray Vannoy Hall, 22, and Christopher Webster, 21, on charges of Assault, First Degree Burglary, Attempted Common Law Robbery and Common Law Robbery. They have been taken into custody.
