Suspect Steals Copper Tubing in Northwest Charlotte
CHARLOTTE, N.C.-- According to police, a man responsible for several break-ins in northwest Charlotte is on the run.
Around 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday, officers were called to a home that was under construction on Quilting Bee Lane. When they arrived, they were told over $1,000 dollars worth of copper tubing had been stolen from the property. While conducting their search on scene, officers noticed that the suspect also broke into a vacant home down the street and took more copper tubing.
Officers have not located the suspect at this time and are asking for the public's assistance. The suspect is described as being a black male with a goatee, last seen wearing a light-colored t-shirt.
