McAdenville, N.C.-- Christmas town USA will soon be a little bit cheerier! The votes are in and residents approved alcohol sales in McAdenville.

217 of the town's 405 registered voters cast ballots in Tuesday's special Election.

The Gaston Gazette is reporting they approved the sale of mixed beverages in restaurants and beer and wine in stores, restaurants and clubs.

Businesses have to get approval from the ABC board before they can offer alcohol.
