Wounded Soldier Receives Hero's Welcome
RANDOLPH COUNTY, N.C.-- A war hero who risked his life to defend our freedom recently came home to North Carolina.
Private first class Jeremy Young returned to his hometown in Randolph County on Saturday.
He was shot 12 times in Afghanistan last year by an Afghan soldier he trained. Young spent seven months in the hospital and received a Purple Heart for his service to our country.
The woman who planned Young's homecoming didn't even know him.
