WBTW-TV leader is president of SC AP Broadcasters

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — A Florence television manager has been elected president of the South Carolina Associated Press broadcasters.

Eric Walters, content editor of WBTW-TV, was elected president at the group's annual meeting in Columbia on Saturday.

Walters replaces Fred Storey, news director of WTMA-AM in Charleston, as leader of the group.

WVOC-AM news director David Waterman of Columbia was re-elected as vice president for radio.

WCSC-TV assistant news director Darryl Huger of Charleston was elected vice president for television.

Elected to the board were Kelly Golden, news director of WSCC-FM in Mount Pleasant, Brad Neuoff, news director of WIS-TV in Columbia, Mary Bullard, assistant news director of WHNS-TV in Greenville, and Dennis Fowler of WZZQ AM-FM in Gaffney.
