Camden set to host group's day-long horse expo

CAMDEN, S.C. (AP) — Horse enthusiasts from acrosss South Carolina are saddling up for a day-long event that features demonstrations and a silent auction.

The South Carolina Horsemen's Association Expo is scheduled for Saturday at the S.C. Equine Park in Camden.

A jousting team called the Knights of the Guild-East is putting on a demonstration of knights on horseback. There is also an event featuring tips and activities related to endurance riding and demonstrations on dressage, eventing and therapeutic riding.

A pavilion on horse health features the latest information in veterinary medicine and nutrition.
