New TLC Reality Show Filmed In Myrtle Beach
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C.-- TLC will soon debut a new reality show filmed in Myrtle Beach called "Welcome to Myrtle Manor".
The 10-part series was filmed in Patrick’s Mobile Home Park off of Highway 15 in Myrtle Beach last year. It is scheduled to air on March 3rd at 10 p.m.
The show follows "Becky" as she takes over the family business of running a trailer park. According to the show promos, she will be trying to turn the community into a five-star resort.
Myrtle Beach spokesman Mark Kruea says he will see what the program looks like before he comments on how it represents the area. Myrtle Beach's top industry, tourism, could be greatly impacted by the television show.
The network TLC is known for shows such as “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” and “Breaking Amish”.
