Teen Killed in Accident on Prom NightGREENVILLE, S.C.--Police say an 18-year-old leaving her high school prom died in a wreck. Officials say Rikki West died Sunday from head and chest injuries sustained in the crash. Several other teens were also injured in the accident but are all expected to recover. Deputy coroner, Barry Wright, says the teens were leaving the Woodmont High School prom and were heading to a bowling alley when the accident happened. Wright says the driver of a pick-up tried to make a right hand turn from the left hand turn lane when he struck the vehicle carrying West. No word on charges at this time.
