One Person Dead in South Charlotte AccidentCHARLOTTE, N.C. -- UPDATE: Officials say 20-year-old Brittany Osorio, has died after being involved in a multiple vehicle crash. Around 4:13 p.m. authorities received a call for service on Ardrey Kell Road. They say Osorio was operating a 2002 Mercedes ML320, heading west on Ardrey Kell Road when she crossed the double yellow line and sideswiped a 2002 Toyota Tacoma pick-up truck. After the initial impact, the Mercedes then struck a 2012 Toyota Sequoia head-on.The other two motorists suffered minor injuries. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- One person was air lifted with life threatening injuries to CMC-Pineville in a multiple vehicle crash. The crash, involving two SUV’s and a pick-up truck, occurred around 4:30 p.m. at Ardrey Kell Road and Providence Road. Ardrey Kell Road between Providence and Tom Short Road will be closed for at least the next 2 hours due to the accident. Two additional patients are being treated at CMC-Pineville with non-life threatening injuries. |
