$1 Million Lottery Winners in Charlotte and Rock Hill
by Caryn Little

CHARLOTTE, N.C.--Some lucky person in Charlotte bought a lottery ticket that will change their life.

It's worth a million dollars but the winner hasn't come forward.  Double check the numbers if you bought a Powerball ticket at the Circle K on Selwyn Avenue.

That is where the winning ticket was purchased.  The winner has 180 days to claim the prize at the lottery headquarters in Raleigh.

The other local winner claimed his million dollar prize Thursday.  Jerry Hucks of Rock Hill says he will not quit his job at the Daimler Plant in Cleveland, North Carolina.

However, he did say he would not work anymore overtime.  Hucks threw up on his way home from claiming his prize, saying it officially sunk in that he won.

He purchased his winning ticket at the Mr. Express on Nations Ford Road in Rock Hill.
