141 Pounds of Marijuana Seized in Cleveland County

SHELBY, NC -- A search in Cleveland County lands a local man in jail. Narcotics Units arrested Jose Juan Gonzalez-Martinez on Friday after a search at his Shelby residence ended with authorities finding 141 pounds of marijuana in a vehicle parked in the driveway.

Detectives say this investigation is part of an overall larger drug investigation. Mr. Gonzalez-Martinez is in custody under a $150,000 secured bond and faces trafficking marijuana charges.
