CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Two Charlotte teens were found breaking into a home Tuesday morning.
CMPD's Steele Creek Division officers arrested Rasheem Lemon and Marcus Lurns, both 17-years old, for their involvement in a residential breaking and entering case.
Just before noon, officers were dispatched to a house on Hilary Circle, in reference to a residential breaking and entering call. The victim advised that he received a phone call from his alarm company stating that there was an alarm activation at his house.
When the victim arrived to his house, he noticed two males running away. Officers came to the scene and determined his house was broken into. The suspects had smashed the rear bedroom window to gain access into the home, but did not take anything from inside because the alarm sounded.
Officers on scene broadcasted a description of the suspects that the victim saw running from his house. The two teen suspects were located a short time later with the assistance of the public.
Lurns and Lemon are both charged with felony breaking and entering.
