The child's family has hired an attorney to fight the length of the suspension. School officials initially suspended the student for 10 days because the incident was classified as a 'terroristic threat.' The child allegedly made the threat on January 10th while she was waiting on a school bus with friends, according to Mount Carmel Area School District officials.
