$50,000 In Fake Designer Purses Seized At Local Flea Market

FORT MILL, S.C. -- Police arrested two people for selling counterfeit designer purses, handbags and wallets from a flea market in Fort Mill. 

The suspects, Andoh Agyemang and Josephine Sayma Keah, have been charged with trademarks/trafficking in counterfeit marks, goods or services valued at $50,000 or more. 

Detectives seized 97 different bags falsely using brand names of Louis Vuitton, Michael Kors, Coach, Gucci, Chanel and Hermes. 

The retail price for some bags, if not counterfeit, would have been valued from $250-$2,000.
