7-Year-Old Killed in ATV Accident in Rowan Co.SALISBURY, N.C.--Investigators say a 7-year-old boy was killed in an ATV crash in Rowan County on Thanksgiving Day. Deputies say the child and an 11-year-old boy were both riding the all-terrain vehicle when it flipped after the two were attempting to make a left turn. The 7-year-old, who was driving, died at the scene and the 11-year-old was flown to Wake Forest Baptist Hospital. Officials say he has serious injuries. Detectives have not released the names of the victims or said if charges will be filed. |
