A Community Effort To Help Allegro FoundationCHARLOTTE, NC--A community effort is underway to help a center for mentally handicapped children. Volunteers from Lowe's and Southside Baptist Church are renovating a duplex off of South Boulevard which will be the future home of the Allegro Foundation. The Allegro Foundation works with more than 500 children in the Charlotte area by helping kids on their motor skills through exercise. Lowe's donated time and materials and Southside Baptist Church gave Allegro the building. |
