A Humbling Shoe GiveawayCHARLOTTE,NC--Hundreds of east Charlotte middle schoolers walked home with brand new shoes thanks to local donations. International non profit group Samaritan's feet handed out more than 400 pairs of shoes at Cochrane Academy. Volunteers sized and washed each child's feet, even teachers and faculty joined in to help wash and size. The next local Samaritan's Feet event is at Lincoln Heights high school on May 2nd. |
