Amber Alert Issued in Pitt County All Clear This Morning

GREENVILLE, N.C. - An Amber Alert that was issued on Monday has been cleared this morning when authorities found the missing Pitt County six day old boy and his mother.  The mother is expected to face charges today. 

Investigators say that Jessica Chavis took Kayden Chavis from a family member's house on Monday.  Social Services was on the way to pick the baby up at the time of the abduction.

RALEIGH, N.C.--The Pitt County Sheriff's Office is searching for a missing child.  Deputies believe this woman, Jessica Chavis, took 6-day-old Kayden Chavis.
 
Kayden is approximately 20 inches tall and weighs six pounds.   He has black hair and brown eyes.
