No Devices Found After Police Search Local High School for Second Time in One Day

CORNELIUS, N.C.-- William A. Hough High School was evacuated a second time Tuesday after a package was located in the building. 

Police say they did not find any suspicious items during either search. 

The first evacuation occurred Tuesday morning after someone reported a bomb threat just after 8 a.m.

A school spokesperson confirmed that investigators found nothing and the evacuation was canceled just around 9:40 a.m. 

Cornelius Police Department, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, Cornelius-Lemley Fire Rescue and Charlotte-Mecklenburg School Officials were involved with the search.
