Baauer Facing Lawsuit Over Harlem Shake
LOS ANGELES, C.A.--The producer of the song 'Harlem Shake' is facing a lawsuit from two musicians for using their voices in the song without their permission.
Reggae artist Hector Delgado and rapper Jayson Musson claim producer Harry Rodrigues (DJ Baauer) used the phrases 'Con los terroristas' and 'Do the Harlem Shake' from previous songs they had released.
Now, they want compensation after the song has become an internet sensation on YouTube. The song has sold more than 816,000 digital downloads.
Rodrigues has declined to comment on the lawsuit.
