CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Charlotte woman injured in the Boston Bombings is preparing for another surgery next month.  Both of Nicole Gross' legs were badly damaged.  Her husband and her sister were also injured.

The Be Strong Stay Strong Foundation is hosting a benefit in their name next week.  Money raised will help cover medical expenses as the family recovers.  Nicole says, "We're in a much better place because we've had a lot more time to settle back into our house, and just filling our schedules with doctor's appointments and physical therapy has kinda kept our minds busy and my body's getting a lot stronger each day."

The benefit is Wednesday night at the Charlotte City Club.  Nicole and Michael will be there.  For ticket information, go to http://www.charlottecentercity.org/ai1ec_event/be-strong-stay-strong-benefit-reception/?instance_id=  OR http://www.companycasuals.com/BESTRONG/b.jsp?id=9003226&ln=9003226
