Body Found in McDowell County Identified as Missing WomanBELMONT, N.C.-- Autopsy results revealed that the body found in a vehicle in McDowell County was that of Elizabeth Stonger. Stonger has been missing since October when she was last seen leaving work. The vehicle was found in a ravine off U.S. Highway 221 while officials were investigating an illegal dumping call in the area. The cause of death is still unkown. This case is still under investigation. |
