Brandon Goes 1-1 with HOF Pitcher Gaylord Perry
FORT MILL, SC -- Hall-of-Fame pitcher Gaylord Perry was in the Charlotte area Friday night to throw out the first pitch before the Knights game against Columbus.
Before the first pitch, Brandon Davidow went 1-1 with the Cy Young award winner to talk about his legendary Spitter, PED's in baseball, and what he wants generations of baseball fans to remember about him.
The North Carolina native also threw out a ceremonial first pitch at Knights Stadium on Opening Day back in 1992.
During Perry's 22-year career, the five-time All-Star won 314 games.He also pitched a no-hitter against the Cardinals in 1968.
