CMPD Closes Investigation of Dog Shooting
CHARLOTTE, N.C.--Charlotte-Mecklenburg police closed an investigation Tuesday night into who shot a dog and left him for dead.
An individual reportedly dumped the dog, Bruno, out of a truck and abandoned him Saturday.
Hours later, another person shot Bruno in the head after he claimed the dog was attacking him.
Rescuers say Bruno has not shown any aggression.
The dog is currenly undergoing treatment.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police told WCCB they were unable to find the man who fired the gun.
