CMPD: West Charlotte Homicide Appears to be Result of Domestic Issue

CHARLOTTE, N.C.-- Homicide Detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department are investigating a death in west Charlotte.

According to police, an assist MEDIC call for service came in just before 8:30 a.m. Monday on Palm Breeze Lane. A man was found inside the home dead from an apparent assault.

Police do not believe this incident was random and believe was the result of a domestic issue.

This incident is still being investigated. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (704) 334-1600.
