Police Searching for Gunman in Grier Heights HomicideCHARLOTTE, NC-- UPDATE: Detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department are conducting a homicide investigation on Zircon Street which left one man dead. Police say the call came in around 7 p.m. on Saturday. Upon arrival, officers found Nakio Terrill Cousart suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Medic arrived on scene and later pronounced the victim deceased. Detectives are actively canvassing the area to determine if anyone saw or heard anything in the moments leading up to the shooting. A possible suspect was seen driving away in a blue Ford SUV.
