CMS Names Finalist in Superintendent SearchCHARLOTTE, NC-- CMS announced today at a press conference that they have narrowed the search pool of candidates to a single candidate. CMS has extended an offer to Heath Morrison to fill the superintendent candidate position. Heath Morrison is the current superintendent in Washoe County, NV. He will announce his departure from the school district 1:00 p.m. Prior to today's announcement, CMS had narrowed the pool to three candidates. The CMS Board did not extend an offer to Ann Clark, a CMS veteran. Kriner Kash, superintendent of the Memphis, TN school district withdrew from the finalist pool last night.
