Police: CMS Teacher Arrested For Assaulting A Child

CHARLOTTE, N.C.--A CMS teacher has been suspended after she was arrested for assaulting a child. 

University Meadows Elementary School teacher Gail Attaway has been charged with two counts of assault on a child under the age of twelve. 

The school's website has Attaway listed as a kindergarten through 3rd grade teacher.
