CHARLOTTE, N.C.--A number of packed schools in Charlotte-Mecklenburg may soon get a little relief.

The school board will decide Tuesday night whether to approve adding mobile and modular classrooms to 12 schools.  They include Eastway Middle, Thomasboro Academy and Druid Hills Academy.

CMS also wants to buy eight mobile restrooms.  The classrooms would be ready for the 2013-2014 school year.
